Bio

Mr. Perez represents clients in California state and federal courts, and before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board.  He has been involved in all aspects of successfully representing injured workers before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, including defending and pursuing multiple appeals to the WCAB Commissioners and California Court of Appeal.  Mr. Perez is especially effective in recovering medical treatment wrongfully denied or delayed to injured workers, and cases dealing with California's Going and Coming Rule involving disputes over liability when an employee is commuting to and from work.

Mr. Perez also represents clients in California state and federal courts for injuries outside the workplace or in cases that involve both workers' compensation and the liability of a third party.  In considering multiple avenues of recovery, Mr. Perez provides the best outcome for his clients.

Mr. Perez earned his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.  While at Loyola Law School, he served as a Senior Editor of the Los Angeles Public Interest Law Journal.  Mr. Perez earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz, in Information Systems Management.  While at UCSC, he served as the chapter president of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers.  He is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and the California Applicant Attorney's Association.

When not practicing law, Mr. Perez is an avid cyclist.  Riding the roads of Los Angeles has made him sympathetic to the plight of the vulnerable road user.
